Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic
  • Inspect, monitor, and implement inspection process at Boeing on the 787 Flight Line.
  • Assisted the DOM at Bellingham Aviation Services to Inspected aircraft systems on CJ2, G150, King Air B200, Cessna Caravan, and other various aircraft such as flight controls, power distribution, hydraulics, pneumatics, auxiliary power, proximity switch electronics, fueling, electronic engine control, and oxygen to enable performance of functional tests and other assigned tasks. Met with the DOM and Avionics manager at BAS to organize, plan, and arrange an efficiently working schedule.
  • Performed 100 hour, annual inspections, and daily flight line procedures on DHC-2 and DHC-3 aircraft at Kenmore Air. Updated flight data and logs.
  • Trained and served as mechanic to work on Boeing 737, CRJ700, Q400, and MD80 for Alaska, Horizon, and Allegiant Airlines to perform maintenance inspections. Gained knowledge and experience of aircraft computing systems, aircraft software and how it interacts with aircraft systems.
  • While performing progressive, annual, and 100-hour inspections on various corporate and private aircraft, I advanced my knowledge in the use of aircraft manuals including: F.I.M., I.P.C, A.M.M., Wiring Diagrams, schematics and Engineering drawings. I assisted the DOM to ensure all paperwork and computer data was completed accurately.
  • Assisted in regular housekeeping and inventory control and applied best practices for keeping tools, cleaning supplies, and shop procedures in order while working in Bellingham Aviation Services.
  • As a line technician for San Jose Jet Center; I worked with others as part of a team to service multiple corporate aircraft and executive professional’s needs such as pre and post flight inspections, customer relation support, servicing portable water, fueling, detailing, and a range of corporate aircraft servicing.
Leadership Development & Management
  • Founded a youth leadership development program. (Educating Future Leaders) Developed, market, manage, and facilitate leadership development and mentoring programs to support dropout prevention. i.e. summer camps, leadership identity workshops, coaching and mentoring, team building, personal responsibility, emotional intelligence, and diversity awareness.
  • Assisted the Leadership Development Specialist at Western Washington University in developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive leadership development program for a diverse population of students and staff.
  • Trained volunteers and Interns in leadership and program development that enabled them to connect with youth and the community. Attend networking events, built relationships with diverse groups of faculty, staff, community members and students to unite each other to build a brighter future.
  • Co-facilitate a student leadership program that serves and interacts with a diverse student population at Western Washington University, Bellingham High School student groups, and other student groups.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs for numerous organizations including; Educating Future Leaders, Vision Quest, Boys and Girls Club, and Klemmer and Associates.
  • Served as lead facilitator guiding groups through ropes course activities at WWU’s Challenge Course and Outdoor Adventures Youth Camp.
